Welcome to Emerald City MCC Seattle
MCC Seattle Celebrates 40 Years in 2012!
Emerald City MCC Seattle is rooted in the Lesbian, Gay, Transgendered, Intersex and Queer (LGBTIQ) communities. Out of respect for spiritual diversity, we exemplify inclusivity in worship and community, provide spiritual education, community outreach, and promote social transformation by advancing our call to social action and justice.
In 2012, we invite you to share with us the joy of turning 40! MCC Seattle was founded in 1972 and has a rich history of advocacy, community involvement and sharing the love of Christ with the local community. We are proud of our history and excited about our future. Look here for information about future events to celebrate our history! (Hint: We have a very exciting guest coming to celebrate Pride with us this year!)
We extend you a warm welcome to visit us should you be searching for a community in which to grow spiritually. We meet each Sunday at 11 a.m., in the chapel at University Temple United Methodist Church, 1415 NE 43rd Street (corner of 15th Ave., NE, and NE 43rd, across the street from the U.W. Bookstore parking lot).
Check out our YouTube channel to hear selected musical performances, sermons and more.
